We would rather be accurate than fast. Here is exactly how to get something fixed — and how Dropbox, or anyone named, can respond.
Dropbox Watchdog aims to be a fair, well-sourced record — critical, but accurate. Errors are inevitable in a large archive, and we treat fixing them as a priority rather than an embarrassment. This page explains how corrections work and how anyone affected can reply.
Dropbox, Inc., and any individual or organisation named in an entry, is welcome to submit a response. Where a substantive, on-point reply is provided, we will add it to the relevant entry — every issue already has a "Dropbox's Response / Official Position" section for exactly this purpose. We do not remove accurately-sourced, factual information, but we will correct, contextualise, or add the other side's position.
We distinguish allegations from settlements and judgments, and we label unproven claims as alleged. If an outcome changes — a case is dismissed, settled, or won — tell us and we will update the record.
Dropbox Watchdogis independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Dropbox, Inc. "Dropbox" is a trademark of Dropbox, Inc., used here only for identification and commentary. See the methodology for how we source and rate entries.
