Dropbox cut staff three times between January 2021 and October 2024, each round larger than the last as a share of the workforce. Full-time headcount fell from 2,204 at the end of 2024 to 2,113 at the end of 2025, per Dropbox's own 10-K filings. What to watch: Dropbox's SEC filings typically disclose a workforce reduction under Item 2.05 of Form 8-K (costs associated with exit or disposal activities) around the time it is announced, and this archive's news monitor tracks new coverage as it appears. No fourth round has been documented as of this writing.
