U.S. District Judge, Northern District of California
U.S. District Court, N.D. Cal.
In 2025, Judge Jeffrey S. White granted Dropbox's motion to compel arbitration in the Sign-breach class action (Guiffre v. Dropbox and related suits), ruling that plaintiffs who clicked 'I agree' to sign a document through Dropbox Sign had accepted Dropbox's terms of service, including its arbitration clause and class-action waiver. The plaintiffs sought reconsideration; the court denied the motion, leaving the order intact.
